Books are considered the best friend of the human beings. As it is very aptly said that a friend in need is a friend indeed and books are the one which are always with us in our need. It is the best way to kill the boredom. For example, if you are in a public transportation or waiting for doctor or train, you can grab a good book of your choice and start reading it. There are loads of benefits which we can get from being a good reader or by making the books our best friend.

To begin, reading books can reduce our stress. Stress reduction is something which we need in our life to move ahead happily and smoothly. Next, being a voracious reader can make you a good starter in conversation. You can be the star of the group by your good points and polished vocabulary. By reading books you can expand the arena of your knowledge as well as word power. It is proven that every successful person is a good reader. Being a teenager, you should start making your root of knowledge very strong and enhanced so that in future you can use the very knowledge for the development of nation as well as yourself. Beyond this, if you read books whole through your heart and mind then you would be able to critically analyze it and thus improving your critical analytical abilities which is surely going to help you in your decision-making in your adulthood. Moreover, if you have decided to be a remarkable writer or you have hobby of writing which many of the teenagers have generally then you should definitely read books on daily basis. A teenager has many issues to deal with and it is quite interesting that if we are having the bundle of good books in our hand then we can find the solution of most of our problems within them only. Reading books increases our ability to empathize rather than sympathize. Our creativity, thought-process as well as actions, everything is directly or indirectly affected by our habit of reading books daily. Even the health issues which the teens face like, sleeplessness or lethargy can be treated by this free prescription of reading books. As it has been proved in research that reading books may help you sleep better.

    A Pulitzer Prize winning novel by a renowned author. This book deals with the racial tension which was prevalent ago between white and blacks. Reader can see this conflict through the eyes of protagonist Scout Finch.

  3. FUNNY BOY by Shyam Selvadurai

    Recently written novel by a Gay writer who empathizes with the protagonist Arjie and consequently weaves a very beautiful beads of rosary for the readers. A magnificent writing which cut off the very idea of being “funny”.
